Mr. Martin Beacon, the proprietor of the Bee's Art and Model Service based in Weybridge, Surrey, obtained permission from Lesney Products to produce a promotional model. Mr. Beacon, a professional model maker, made 500 models which were made available at the Surrey Model Fair and Swapmeet held on the 28th February 1981 in Guildford, Surrey, England.
